Bio
Vanessa V.
I had the pleasure of working with Veronica at Princeton University as 1 of 3 Alumni leads for the Youth Leadership Institute (YLI) that is hosted by the Hispanic Scholarship Fund each summer. The program is held for the top 150 rising Hispanic high school seniors, mentors and past alumni of the program. The Alumni lead position was to deal with the day to day logistics and execution of operations of a national multi day program. In addition, we had the opportunity to lead past alumni of the program to help with tasks to ensure that the program ran smoothly. Veronica was organized and led her team with grace and professionalism. Anytime there were concerns or conflict, Veronica was an active listener and offered solutions to both parties so there could be a resolution. Veronica is a quick problem solver who can work in a fast paced environment, yet was always supportive of the students and provided mentor ship. Working with students is definitely one of Veronica’s strengths because she was highly valued and respected as a leader. Veronica built long last connections with those students and impacted their lives. I highly recommend Veronica for any position she is applying for because she is a great asset.
