Trademark Clinic: Screen incoming calls for prospective clients seeking trademark protection.Immigration Clinic: Spanish speaking student attorney appearing at the Detroit Immigration Court for pretrials, trials, and bond hearings. I have also prepared discovery documents such as exhibits, witnesses, and custody redetermination motions. I also screen calls for prospective clients in need of immigration defense and assist with the translation of documents and serve as an interpreter between clients and other student attorneys. I also oversee the students that are registered in the clinical course. I have experience in preparing employment authorization documents, fee waiver, green card applications, asylum applications, freedom of information act requests, and travel documents. Other Clinical Support: I assisted with the organization and planning of two expungement clinics that were carried out in the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and in Lansing, MI. I also train staff and students on Clio usage (legal database software used in all clinics).

I was an assistant program coordinator for the Adelante Youth Program. This program consisted of local high school students that met once a week with me. I coordinated all weekly meetings, also any other events such as community service & socials, and assisted with the planning of the annual Hispanic Youth Leadership Conference. This conference has been an annual event in which a large number of local high school students attend various workshops followed by a college & career fair.
