Groningen, Netherlands I am continuing my study of the formation of pre-biotic molecules in space with a 3-year Veni fellowship. Part of my responsibilities are in communicating my science with the public. I have collaborated with BiblionetGroningen to give lessons in five libraries in the towns surrounding Groningen, as well as working together with Stichting SparkLab to create an immersive exoplanet visit experience for the primary school children of Wehe-den-Hoorn and groups in Groningen. Groningen, Netherlands I study the chemistry of gas surrounding high mass (proto)stars using sub-millimeter ALMA observations. My first project was studying two high mass star forming regions to uncover the chemical differences. I am currently working with a new set of ALMA observations in search of disks around O-type protostars and working with a chemical model to understand chemical segregation seen in my first project.
