Veronica was able to take complex material and relate it to her students in ways that not only made the material easily understandable, but also kindled student interest in science. Veronica was a very organized and highly approachable teacher, her students always knew that she would do everything possible to help them. As a colleague, Veronica fostered a sense of collegiality in a department with many disparate personalities. At meetings she would cheerfully work with all to accomplish department objectives.
