Vernon was one of the first team members brought into Listee and one of the most passionate. Vernon took a lead role almost immediately and mentored all of the other developers we brought into the project. His experience at Snap proved invaluable and gave him a perspective on team dynamics and mutual support that helped guide the rest of the team. Vernon not only led our code reviews and approved Pull Requests; he also ran weekend seminars for the team to bring them up to speed on our stack. When our project wound up Vernon drilled with the team on hiring questions, interview approaches, and helped to prep them for their next opportunities. While it was sad to part ways it was a tremendous pleasure to work with Vernon and I know he will succeed wherever he lands in the future.
