  Rural areas are close to my heart because I have witnessed their value firsthand. I spent almost half of my life, 16 years to be specific, residing in a rural area in Indonesia where I founded my own company several years later. I worked alongside multinational corporations (MNCs), cigarette companies, palm plantations, mining companies, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), among others for my B2B ventures. I saw the value of my town and how the way of life contributes to people. This heightened my appreciation for rural people, particularly the farmers. I’ve seen how much they value hard work, providing for their families and caring for their close-knit community. Unfortunately, they continue to be overlooked and underappreciated. This made me realize how important it is to be a part of something bigger than myself; hence, inspiring me to seek out ways to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of those with the least access to opportunities through Group Buying.
