I had the honor of being Verlynn’s Manager while working at Columbia House. Verlynn was a major asset to the company in his role of Senior Database Administrator. He was hired as a mainframe DB2 Database Administrator but after a short time it was easily recognizable that Verlynn skills went beyond mainframe DB2. Verlynn has the capabilities to work on most DBMS’s and if he has no previous experience with the technology he easily develops the skills necessary and soon becomes an expert. During our time working together at Columbia House, Verlynn was essential in training several new employees.
