Vera is a remarkable researcher. She can go far with very little instruction. I got to know Vera from working in the same lab. I was able to see how well she can manage her time and goals working independently but also how talented she is at communicating and collaborating across different verticals. Our lab works on several different projects at the intersection of humans and autonomous technologies at once and Vera was always up to a new challenge from drones to self-driving cars. Another point not to miss about her is her aptitude to do all of this so excellently while adapting to a new country thousands of miles away from home. I highly recommend Vera for any opportunities that will allow her to continue to make a positive difference.
