      As an intern I started at this firm working on qualitative research on the well-being and resilience of the Krewerd community for Experiment Krewerd, in the chronic disaster situation of Groningen. Also after my graduation we proceed to reviewed this pilot bottom—up participatory method to reinforce earthquake-damaged houses. I gained valuable research skills and a deeper understanding of the challenges in policies and disaster situations.       I started working with GO! Noord Nederland as an intern at the Hanze Hogeschool.
