Founder of the Not for Profit Organization - Ukrainian Children's Aid and Relief Effort. Inc. (UCARE, Inc.). Our goal is to help the children in Ukraine - focusing on orphaned and those with special needs. Our activities have included fundraising: auctions, bingo, garage sales, program targeted mailings, speaking engagements, fairs, and much more. UCARE supports orphanages in Ukraine with material goods (shipment of containers, shopping locally with directors, etc,). UCARE supports children with multiple programs: Summer camp where they have workshops on health, careers, nature, teamwork, and more. Scholarship program where students receive stipends to help cover costs of their education along with quarterly sessions covering various topics: ex: rights of orphaned children, how to go on an interview.
