I was lucky to work with Vera as co-manager on a large scale web application as well as the team-member or the Project Management Team in Fastdev. The project we were working on was for one of the leading audit companies in the world and the scale of the project required 3 different project managers handling the different areas of the application. Working alongside Vera has been nothing but a pleasure since she is a very attentive and reliable person, who always has your back and is ready to jump in to help with any area of the project. She is particularly good at putting together the documentation accompanying the project, beginning with early stages that involve the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria and following with more complicated papers, like infrastructure, test plans and strategies. Vera had a very deep understanding of the product which allowed her to handle questions of any area and understand who should be contacted to keep the project moving. I also must note that out of our Project Management team on the project she was the only PM who managed to complete her part on time without any delays or concerns reported by the client. Vera is very structured when it comes to information, she always follows up with the client if any questions remain on either side and is a dedicated notes taker and follow ups writer, which helps the entire team to stay on the same page and have access to all necessary information when needed. Vera is also kind and polite, working with her is a pure joy, as she channels calmness and balance in her work and day to day behaviour. I would always feel at peace once I speak with her on any work or non-work related matter. She is very pro-active, but never pushy or strict, you would always find a common ground with her even if there is a disagreement. I witnessed her negotiate with the client and her method of understands the client’s needs is flawless: while noting the client’s needs she takes in account the teams capabilities and never gives out any promises unless she has confirmed the information with the team first. I also know for a fact that all of the developers, designers and testers who had previously worked with Vera would work with her again and again on any project. And I understand them and agree with them completely: if I ever need to hire a PM for my project I would not look further and just get Vera if she were available.
