I have completed a four-week project placement with GoodStart Program, which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of Maori and Pacific Islander community. My project was to develop an QCE structured education program for senior high school students, to equip them to become a health leader for their families, schools and communities. As part of a school-based project, my role was to design an equivalence of 2 full days of Nutrition and Health Promotion session plans, and create culturally appropriate resources. The session plans were culturally tailored to the traditional ways of learning for the students, with adequate health and nutrition information for them to pass on to other people. The project is expected to be administered in late 2019. Show less

I have worked along with renal dietitian and foodservice dietitian to identify the suitability of the hospital menu for patients with chronic kidney disease. I assessed the menu choice and nutritional adequacy of all the available main meals and mid-meals for patients.
