Veni Ari Jayanti was a Co-Founder of the Unreasonable Lab New York, a social entrepreneurship accelerator at Columbia University. One of her main responsibilities was take charge of the logistics and curriculum implementation for the lab. Veni excelled at both tasks and without her the lab would not have been successful. She is a great team member and highly skilled at presenting and moderating lectures. I highly recommend working with Veni.

Veni was one of the educational improvement facilitators and teachers –the name of this duty is Pengajar Muda-- of Indonesia Teaching Movement Foundation in 2011. Veni was selected out of 5,266 applicants to join other 47 Pengajar Muda in that batch. She was assigned for a year in Ketam Putih, Bengkalis in western of Indonesia. Veni had proven that she had great leadership competencies especially in building positive relationship and gaining others' commitment. She was also a highly initiative person and never waited things to be easy to initiate something new. When she was serving in Bengkalis, she initiated and became the project coordinator of a capacity building program for teachers and headmasters, especially for those who serve in remote villages in the districts which were rarely touched by the local government. Veni was able to convince the local government to support the program. The program has finally developed teachers’ capacity to utilize local resources in the classroom. For the headmasters, the program developed their skills in managing local stakeholders in challenging communities to gain maximum support. It was the first training programorganized by Pengajar Muda in Bengkalis and the result was impressive. I am sure ‘the can do’ attitude that she possessed will get her far in her career.
