I had the pleasure of working closely with Yuliia for a couple of years as her manager, and was consistently impressed by their professionalism, skills growth and ability to achieve great results. Yuliia is a dedicated and hardworking person who consistently exceeds expectations. Her strong communication skills, positive attitude and ability to build an own engineering team with a great atmosphere make her a valuable asset to any engineering organization.

I worked with Yuliia for 1.5 years. At that time, I was setting up the recruitment process at Sisense, and Yuliia was one of the key "customers" of the process. At the same time, we adjusted the process and filled a large number of difficult vacancies. It was possible because of cooperation with such a wonderful hiring manager as Yuliia. She demonstrated a willingness to cooperate, a flexible approach, made her own suggestions, and was ready to listen to others. Her authority as a leader and the coordinated work of her teams also helped. I was glad to work with Yuliia and wishing her the best luck in her next chapter

My responsibilities: - project delivery - technical guidance and leadership - managing risks associated with projects - communicating project status and risks to executive level stakeholders - people management, mentoring, and coaching - participating in the recruitment process - engaging in discussions with customers Some challenges that I faced with: 1. I had to work with both: ready-made teams and build a team from scratch. Additionally, I led a team with a technology stack that was little-known to me (mobile development), made data-based technical decisions for this team and delivered new functionality successfully. 2. I had to lead three teams in parallel, each with completely different and unrelated tasks and technology stacks. This significantly improved my ability to change contexts easily and delegate tasks effectively. 3. I led my teams through a complete restructuring of the c-level management of the company, which brought about a huge change in work approaches and requirements. I acted as an advocate for change, explaining why such a radical restructuring was necessary, introducing new management and approaches to my teams, and creating a sense of calm amidst the dramatic changes. I also introduced my teams to the new management, highlighting their strengths and demonstrating that they were capable of handling new complex and challenging tasks. 4. With the plugin team, we built a new process for delivering new plugins that differed from the standard release of the product. This required close communication between product owners, developers, DevOps, and document writers.

Implementation of complex functionality that requires a lot of communication and has dependencies on other commands. Building a delivery plan with timelines and following those timelines was also challenging. 2. As part of my promotion, I trained two new managers who later became team leads. This experience developed my coaching skills. Enabling an employee to realize their potential while directing them in a certain direction can be a non-trivial task. 3. Handling difficult conversations, dismissing employees, and building a plan for a trial period that includes tasks and readiness conditions.

This project required collaboration work with data scientists. Also, it was crucial to optimize the algorithm’s performance to prevent system overloading

Development of a system designed to manage abandoned shopping carts using emails, mobile calls, and contextual advertisements. The system was built using a microservices architecture and such technologies as NodeJs, Angular, Couchbase, and Elasticsearch. As a full stack developer, my responsibilities included the development of distinct components of the system, ongoing support, and optimization. I stopped my cooperation with the project due to the project's departure from Ciklum.
