      Responsible for coordinating the Startup Refugees community - a rapidly mushrooming non-profit and volunteer network supporting the employment and entrepreneurship of asylum seekers and refugees in Finland. Acted as a contact person between the asylum seekers/refugees and the over 500 network members consisting of big and small businesses, educational institutions, ministries, NGOs, municipalities, congregations etc. These network members are all committed to providing jobs, trainings and education to the asylum seekers. I supported and trained volunteers, organised a variety of events, managed communications and administered finances. I was also responsible for the Startup Refugees Women project with a special focus on empowering asylum-seeking women and their children. My strengths in the job were a versatile know-how in oral, written and visual communication and strong cultural sensitivity and understanding of different cultures. I was said to adapt exceptionally to a variety of roles from holding an official presentation to building a pop-up restaurant with a modest budget. I also worked efficiently with many stakeholders and people from different cultures and backgrounds. I accustomed well to changing situations and gladly embraced spontaneous tasks.
