Vasundhra is one of the best person I have worked with in a team. I got lot of opportunities to work with her on many assignments in my college and she always proved out to be the solution-driver to all the problems. Her ability to learn things quickly is commendable and she brings in lot of fresh perspective on issues. She is dependable and hardworking. It was a privilege to have worked with her during college and I hope to work with her on some professional engagement soon.

Worked as a Senior Manager - Knowledge Services Innovations & Delivery with OneWorld Foundation India since August 2014. I joined the organisation in December 2013 as Manager- Special Projects. I was responsible for leading the team on two ICT4D projects - Access to Justice and LifeLines India. • Access to Justice is an initiative of the Union Ministry of Law and Justice and UNDP to strengthen access to legal entitlements for the poor, particularly women, SCs, STs, and minorities through voice based info-kiosks. I led the planning and complete rollout of ‘Access to Justice’ in the states of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. • LifeLines India leverages a mix of Internet and telephone technologies to provide essential and demand-based information, advice and guidance to remote and rural communities of India through the medium of voice in local language within 24 hours. Here also, I led the planning and rollout of the project in Uttarakhand.

My primary role involved working with village communities, empowering them to meet the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in the areas of Education and Women Empowerment. However the inherent nature of the Total Village Management (TVM) model allowed me to understand the village socio system better through participation in local governance mechanisms, capacity building and training, livelihood and income enhancement activities, health and sanitation problems, management of natural resources (water, land, forests and livestock) and renewable energy usage. As part of the team, I was involved in all aspects of planning, training, implementation and impact measurement. As part of the core Education team, I was involved in planning, implementation, monitoring and documentation of the Total Village Management Model Project for Integrated Education funded by World Bank, which was being implemented in 8 villages across two blocks of Jharkhand, India. The project focussed on working with children with a focus on healthcare, quality education and developing sports; provided skills and employment opportunities to rural youth in the hospitality field and worked with adult groups on literacy programmes. I initiated a fundraising campaign in the three KGVK Gurukul schools (low cost rural schools), the ‘help sponsor a child scholarship’ and raised around INR 11 Lakhs covering 214 scholarships along with creating a corpus. I have also been involved in targeted fundraising activities including a successful 100K proposal for integrated education with World Bank and Support Healthcare activities proposal.
