My role @ LIBER is twofold: I am responsible for cross-project activities related to EU project management and reporting, but also for communication and engagement activities associated with LIBER’s portfolio of EU projects and the promotion of our projects to appropriate stakeholders. I am part of the project team, mostly working on project work packages related to project management, communications and engagement, skills and training, policies and funding that LIBER is either leading or participating in. I am also involved in activities of two of the LIBER Working Groups related to Open Access and Digital Skills for library staff and researchers.Cross-project activities include:Activities towards the implementation and control of EU projects’ financial aspects. Monitoring project revenues and expenditures based on the projects’ budget analysis system used by LIBER. Processing EU projects’ financial reporting in terms of project costs, progress reports, etc. Processing LIBER staff’s EU project-related expenses/ reimbursements/ timesheets. Drafting policies and procedures related to projects' operations. Communication activities:Undertaking the duties listed in the projects' descriptions of work, which have been assigned to LIBER in the context of European projects, in close collaboration with the other Project Officers at LIBER and other project partners. Some of the activities are: Participating in/Leading specific work-packages assigned related to communication, dissemination and engagement Producing project dissemination material, as listed in the respective dissemination and engagement plans Co-ordinating communication and dissemination actions, events and workshops; use of all available communication channels and tools Leading/Contributing to written reports.
