I highly recommend Vasiliy Loskutov. I directed Vasiliy while he was a student worker during his final semester at Arizona State University. Due to his extensive previous laboratory experience, Vasiliy very quickly learned and then independently executed several complicated research techniques. In particular, after a single demonstration, Vasiliy ran successful repetitions of a lengthy, multi-sample screening protocol for the solubility and purification of expressed membrane proteins. Vasiliy was clearly a dedicated worker, as he readily turned to and executed the list of tasks that I gave him each day. Vasiliy’s questions also indicated to me his clear understanding of both the overall goals and the details of the work.
