Designed and developed state of the art software solutions for H2020 green energy oriented projects. INTERPRETER H2020 project I was involved in the development of two software solutions that assist the Distribution System Operators to assess, facilitate, control and maintain their distribution networks and operated as RESTful APIs ofr broader use. The first tool (Grid Modeling Tool): ➙ generates a grid model ➙ performs unbalance power flow by utilizing well defined power functions ➙ performs state estimation for both balanced and unbalanced networks to ensure the networks' observability The second tool (Predictive Maintenance Tool): ➙ provides forecasts of the components' state of health (SoH) by employing Machine Learning algorithms ➙ identifies with different graphical methods potential faults/threats of the equipment based on their SoH ➙ suggests maintenance actions ➙ optimizes maintenance actions to achieve maximum improvement of the equipment with minimal maintenance expenses and unavailability periods RENAISSANCE H2020 project Designed and developed a smart end device that follows a modular software architecture, that consists of lightweight components, responsible of the monitoring and control of the available assets, an energy forecasting suite employing Statistical, Machine Learning and Deep Learning models, an interconnection with smart meters as well as direct or indirect connection with the assets and a Demand Side Management signals handling capability that supports OpenADR protocol. The device is equipped with a robust back-end system surrounded by an intelligent lightweight toolkit, enabling small and medium customers to participate in a variety of marketplaces. Show less
