Bio
Ian Wilson
For anyone that wants a lean leader who is driven, passionate and capable of identifying closely with your business process I’d highly recommend Varun. Ive worked with him in the past and had always demonstrated an ability to get up to speed fast with the problem statement and the process to be solved. Varun is also a great personality to have in any business atmosphere.

Varun was great to work with and embodies the role of Lean Leadership in an excellent manner. As our group responsibilities expanded to include AUS/NZ, Varun became a key leader in the region for the Australian sites and later the NZ operation. He was also a major key asset and leader in a challenging plant closure and transfer for a footprint consolidation in the region. He was a major contributor to getting the project completed and the receiving operations stood up and operating lean. I found Varun to be solid in many lean tools but also willing to embrace and practice the cultural and leadership behaviors we were driving at the time for sustainable deployment. He embraced the entire philosophy and was key in deploying at the sites in the region the best he could. His technical engineering background was a strong asset and innovative solutions often emerged combining lean with technology. We appreciated his creativity and tenacity to getting to solutions. He was great to work with - balanced with a sense of humor even in stressful conditions yet driven with a sense of purpose. Miss working with him, count him as a colleague and friend, and would welcome the opportunity to collaborate again some day.
