Bio
Kaustubh Manoj Harapanahalli
I worked with Varsha at Siemens from Aug 2019 to Oct 2020 on multiple projects. She led numerous projects, of which I was part of two significant projects. She efficiently communicated the customer requirements and the technical team's deliverables throughout the projects. She was open to discussions related to projects or technical challenges. She was sound in her technical skills and was always involved in the research and development of the applications. She always went the extra mile to ensure that everyone in the team was happy with the work and gave importance to work-life balance. She has excellent business acumen in acquiring projects and designing applications per business requirements. Though she used to lead projects, she was always keen on learning new technologies from her team members and quickly grasped the concepts. Her understanding of deep learning, computer vision, and reinforcement learning, combined with her expertise in software development, always helped the team to bounce new ideas off her and convert them into new products within the company. With her gaining a lot more expertise in Artificial Intelligence through her Master's degree in Biomedical Computing with Computer Vision, she would be a great addition to any team she would work for, and I always look forward to another opportunity to work with her.

I had the opportunity to work closely with Varsha for approximately 2 years. During this period, I was amazed by both technical and managerial capabilities Varsha portrayed. On the project which both of us were a part of, she played a significant role to understand the pain points of the customers and contributed technically by designing an architectural pipeline which was not just scalable but also re-usable for a variety of computer vision analytics use-cases. Apart from her knowledge in C++ and designing scalable architectures, one of the traits that sets Varsha apart is her passion to learn and keep herself up-to-date. The skillset which Varsha possess is unique and hence I believe that she would be an asset for any company or R&D lab.
