Main Duties and Responsibilities • To independently manage my own ledger with little supervision. To date I have a portfolio of 35 clients located within UK and Scotland. • Chasing outstanding Commercial debts by telephone and e-mail. This includes managing the recovery of monies from tenants /occupiers both UK and International. • Proactively resolving all tenant disputes and complaints liaising both with the surveyor and client accountant to achieve a positive resolution. • Ensure all tenant queries are actioned within 24 hours. • Attending monthly face-to face and call conference arrears meetings with surveyors and facilities manager to agree all escalation steps to recover debts, prior to initiating action. • Reducing, investigating and monitoring 90+ debts. • Notify surveyors and client accountants of any default agreed payment plans • Instruct solicitors and/or bailiffs to recover outstanding sums, approved by the client • Assist with information for preparation of monthly reports and aged debtor analyses • Reconcile tenant statements / aged debtor reports • Assist in the allocation of cash receipts at peak periods • Contribute to the identification of unallocated cash • Creating Quarterly reporting for the credit control team. • Training new joiners with the BNP Credit Control processes. • Admin Tasks include: To update all tenant business details upon request, recording and updating tenant debt status and all agreed payment plans onto the in-house system, responding to tenant and client queries by e-mail and letters and to scan all relevant documentation (including CRAR notices). • Adhere to all agreed procedures and controls
