World Vision India is one of the country’s largest child-focused humanitarian organisations. With over six decades of grassroot experience, they employ proven, effective development, public engagement and relief practices empowering vulnerable children and communities living in contexts of poverty and injustice to become self-sufficient and bring lasting change. I worked under the my city program where I was part of the survey team and had conducted survey about the quality of water in the nearby villages and the whether they have water filters or not. Thereafter I also did survey regarding the number of sponsored child in family in the villages and noting down the details. I also visited the villages under world vision and identified the children clubs and self -help groups and understood about their activities and work. I learned time management, Teamwork, decision making, leadership, and adaptability during this internship. Show less
