Intern on the Traffic Light Optimization Project

New Delhi, India As an intern on this project I simulated an ideal traffic intersection using MATLAB and it's tools. This model was used to study the effect of the timings of the lights upon the density of traffic, and many other environment variables. The mathematical model of this, once programmed into MATLAB served as a stepping stone towards modelling a practical traffic intersection that could then be studied for optimized timings to reduce congestion on Delhi roads.
