Campaigns Director

Jun 2021 - Jun 2022
In this position, I have honed my problem solving and project management skills by creating creative progress-oriented campaigns and effectively leading my team in fundraising and raising awareness on issues such as women’s urban safety. Last year, my team and I successfully lobbied for making consent education training compulsory on campus, and this year we are working towards opening STD screening centres for students on campus as well. This position has taught me how to run a department efficiently through efficient communication - with team members, sponsors, charities, etc. - ; create and maintain budgets; collaborate with charitable organisations and individuals, and conduct extensive research into a variety of social causes. It has also helped me look beyond my personal experience to delve into issues less discussed, such as the impact of public policy on transgender communities in India.
