I had the pleasure of working with Lenny for the duration of my stay at WHNO-TV and SportsNOLA.com. During our time working together, Lenny juggled a number of different job functions. I was always impressed with his ability to complete his work in a timely manner without sacrificing effectiveness. Lenny brings a lot to the table and consistently added value to our team. Whether selling for the station and website, reporting, writing content, or producing an ever-expanding portfolio of local sports shows and games, Lenny always got it done. He's truly a team player that doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. At the end of the day, despite whatever challenges may have popped up, I knew we could count on him to get the job done. Lenny is a true professional and great asset for any team. He is truly invaluable.

Lenny is one of the most versatile employees on the WHNO-SportsNOLA.com staff. His diverse sales, sports, PR, production and marketing background make Lenny an asset not only to our team, but also to his clients and contemporaries in the business. Lenny is always a team player who leads by example and serves the bigger picture selflessly. He is certainly a model for others to emulate.
Kristen Reed Nicholson
Lenny is a natural when it comes to writing and publicity. He makes it his duty to not only know his material but to live and breath it 110% of the time. He has a wealth of experience and is a go-to guy for all things related to sports, news and media. Plus he is one heck of a handicapper!

I oversaw all public and media relations, simulcasting and the horse racing side of the player rewards program for a company that included horse racing, off track betting, slot machines and video poker in southeast Louisiana. My new title came with a shift in responsibilities from marketing to simulcasting. I managed successful publicity campaigns for the re-opening of Fair Grounds following Hurricane Katrina in 2006 and for the opening of the track's slot-machine gaming facility in 2007. Thanks to self-generated training campaigns for front line employees, I produced an increase in cash wagers made with player rewards card of more than 100% in three years leading Twin Spires Club program, generating significant increases in data to evaluate customers.
