I had the absolute pleasure of working alongside Vanessa Noble at Kingston International School. Vanessa's passion for The Arts is like no one I had ever met before in my life. She brought so many creative ideas and initiatives into the school. Her divergent thinking inspired her learners to find their passion within The Arts. Yearly, Vanessa directed a Pantomime show at the Shouson Theatre in Hong Kong. Each year I attended, I could see and feel Vanessa's brilliance injected into so many aspects of the show. Vanessa has the kindest heart and is always looking to help others. I hope to have the honour of working alongside Vanessa again.

RE: Vanessa Noble To whom it may concern, The Independent Schools Foundation Academy is unique in offering bilingual IB MYP and IB Diploma programmes. Students are mainly tri-lingual (Cantonese, Mandarin and English), however, the school’s medium of instruction is English and Mandarin. I am writing in support of Vanessa Noble. I have known Vanessa for over 7 years in a personal and professional context and have no hesitation in recommending her for a position in any educational environment. I initially worked with Vanessa when she was cast as a role in a production that I directed. Watching her grow as a performer and take responsibility as an excellent musical director through her years at the same production company, working with young people and adults, Vanessa’s skill as an educator was abundantly clear. Seeing these experiences led me to offer Vanessa a position within our school as a Drama and Music teacher in 2018. Whilst working in a professional capacity with us at ISF Academy, Vanessa worked hard with us to help develop the written curriculum, bringing insight and knowledge from PYP into our MYP context with clear knowledge of Theatre at DP level. Her inquiry focus in class is done effortlessly and students, teachers and parents have all commented on how much of a positive impact that she brought to the school community. She has been responsible for delivering lessons, grading, writing reports and taking deep pastoral care of the young people under her care through her role as Head of House. In all of these fields, Vanessa has shown natural flair, passion and empathy aligned with her personal passions for Service Action. Vanessa also worked outside of curriculum time in order to help to craft two significant pieces of theatre with the young people in both the role of co-director in ‘My Fair Lady’. and director of the full-scale musical - ‘Hairspray’. Through these experiences, she showed dynamism, organisation and a sense of joy to be working with young people which was infectious and relished by the students. She has also been a selfless pillar of the Hong Kong community, organising events for a wide range of causes in order to showcase the talents of others and raise awareness through the Arts. Vanessa is also socially dynamic and is an excellent collaborator with others. Please feel free to contact me further if you need any further clarification. Yours sincerely, Adam Walker Head of Arts, ISF Academy Hong Kong.
