Leading an advocacy project for Māori Theatre & Dance practitioners across Aotearoa. Ngā Hua Toi was established by 9 Māori theatre & dance organisations across Aotearoa to provide support and touch points of connection for Māori performing arts practitioners. Leading the pilot project, Ngā Hua Toi delivered: - Multiple digital hui & wānanga hosting & management - Produced & filmed 6 video tutorials around arts management (Te Kopa Iti a Toi series) - Initiated a database of Māori theatre & dance practitioners - Website creation - Regular information collating & sharing through EDM marketing - Social Media Management - Initiated an event calendar for upcoming contemporary Māori performing arts events & workshops Show less

Senior Program Coordinator - Fringe Club

As the Senior Programme - Fringe Club, I was responsible for programming nightly events, gigs and performances for artists, sponsors, private functions and all round experience of the world famous Fringe Club across the 5 week festival. Alongside the Production Coordinator, we managed the venue and liaised frequently with artists, venue staff, security and wrote nightly reports on the activities. I directly managed a team of 2 with programming and artist liaison management, managing tech riders and making sure artists booked each evening were catered to, understood the brief, and felt safe & comfortable with my team. A personal highlight was programming as many First Nation artists and Artists of Colour across the 5 week festival, providing paid performance opportunities & visibility. Show less
