      Wyevale Garden Centres was one of the UK’s largest garden centre groups with 147 centres and approx. 6500 employees. I stepped up into the role of Interim Payroll Manager at a time of great change. The company was being disbanded with its garden centres sold off (individually and in small groups) to new buyers. All head office employees (including myself) will have been made redundant by the end of 2019. Operated as part of a payroll team of 3, with 8 weekly payrolls spanning over 4,000 temps a week.
