      • Latin-American School for Food Systems Resilience: "Transformative socio-environmental learning: fostering food systems innovation grounded in local knowledge".The Latin-American School for Food Systems Resilience created a network for Latin American young leaders to promote innovative processes for food systems resilience, using co-learning and participatory approaches. This school specifically sought to validate both ancestral and academic knowledge. It was held from September 14th to September 25th, 2019 in the Sacred Valley of Cuzco, Peru, in association with the Potato Park and Asociación ANDES (local NGO). The goals for the school were grounded in the rich local agrobiodiversity and knowledge that exists in Cuzco and Peru in general. Its specific objectives were: (i) Encouraging collective leadership, (ii) Facilitating co-learning, sharing of diverse experiences and methodologies through a socio-ecological approach, (iii) Reconnecting with local knowledge and traditional practices, (iv) Promoting action-oriented research as well as socially responsible business practices and policy decisions. A total of 24 young environmental leaders from seven countries participated in this version.
