Projects: 1. Tuning industrial boiler for optimal efficiency This project aims at maximum combustion efficiency of an industrial power plant. To achieve this, an optimal setting is being predicted resulting in NOx reduction and fuel savings. Role: Predictive data modeling, Optimization (Full Factorial & PSO). Achievement: This project won TCS Innovation award in Asia-Pacific region. 2. Predicting type of cancer from the patient data collected from EMR. This project aimed at predicting type of cancer a patient is suffering by analysing his/her EMR. 3. Development of automated biological query system. This project aimed at integrating various open source biological database and building an automated query system. Show less

Protein dimer are common in catalysis and regulations. There association are either homodimer (identical monomer) or hetero-dimer (non-identical monomer). The dissection of protein-protein binding sites has been studied in terms of physico-chemical character of the interface (type of chemical groups and amino acids, hydrophobicity, electrostatic interactions, hydrogen bonds, and hotspots) and association geometry (size, shape complementarities). Here I used Machine learning approach and some tools like Delphi, Naccess to predict protein-protein interaction for dimer formation on the basis of chemical properties and geometrical factors.
