Team Psychologist (men's program)
-
Jan 2013 - Aug 2015
I worked alongside Dr Corinne Reid aand Dr. Catherine Campbell providing services to individual athletes, coaching staff and the team to support the development of excellence. Working with individual athletes, staff, coaches and the team required many skills - including clinical skills and the knowledge gained from many years as a Social Psychologist (working on topics such as group processes and making judgments under stress) - to help the team reach its potential. Through my tenure with the Kookaburras I was lucky enough to be part of a successful World Cup in the Netherlands (June 2014) and Commonwealth Games (August 2015). I also attended the Junior World Cup (December 2013) as well as providing support on tours to India, Europe, Malaysia, Singapore, as well within Australia.
