  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS • Currently operate overhead bridge crane (tallest with longest span at plant) to move product in fast paced high pressure environment with no room for error • Developed and updates of a weekly 12K to 17K ton casting plan used by Nucor Seattle Melt Shop to produce billets for internal and external customer orders (I determined the timing, quantity, type, and stacking locations for Melt Shop production.) • Using my knowledge of steel grades and chemistry specification requirements and commitment to service, I have provided ongoing effective logistical support to Seattle Nucor Rolling Mill • Update and manage Rolling Mill production schedule as required to minimize potential stacking and billet logistic supply issues • Responsible for export billet production scheduling and order fulfillment including arrangement of transport logistics to terminal facility, end-product auditing and quality assurance • Successfully brought to completion multiple 20 K tons export orders • Worked directly with trucking firms and outside suppliers to overcome obstacles to completion of orders • Create billet, grade and finished goods part codes required for work order fulfillment • Provide training and mentoring of Chemistry Lab Technicians, specifically relating to new software systems and upgrades and daily problem solving • Provide weekly production updates to senior leadership and month end inventory reporting to Accounting • Liaison between Seattle plant and Arizona plant regarding billet deviation requests for out of spec materials, verifying virtual and physical billet inventory, create load plans for the Transportation and Shipping departments and provide shipping updates • Provided leadership as Co-chair at weekly safety team meetings, encourage crew members to bring forth and help resolve potential safety concerns, facilitate safety projects’ completion, maintain listing of safety task projects, preparation and published of minutes
