Tissue Classification using machine learning on Raman Spectroscopy: (Aug 20 – Aug 22)-Developed applications (Python) using Convolution neural networks and signal processing together to classify healthy soft tissue and tumor tissue using Raman spectroscopy signal.Surgical techniques of Bone Tumor Resection: (Aug 15 – Aug 22)-Developed applications (Matlab) using iterative closest point algorithm to identify bone surfaces and to assist surgeons in identifying tumor sites during the surgery-Developed surgical techniques using point cloud of bone surface and surface matching to facilitate customized surgeries in the Operating Room.-Developed and evaluated the kinematic model of the surgical site.Bio-mimetic & Bio-compatible Hybrid Bone Implants: (Aug 16 – Aug 22)-Developed hybrid 3D printed bone implant scaffolds which mimic the natural trabecular structure and function of the bone (biomimetic & biocompatible).-Conducted comparison study of mechanical properties of scaffolds developed with different reagents.-Carried out in-vivo studies of the hybrid implants to test for bio-compatibility.
