I investigate, reconcile and correct payroll data issues, discrepancies and errors, supporting the Operations team by inputting all the necessary information onto the payroll database. I collect, compile and review data for year end processing (P60's, P11d's, end of year statements) and liaise with HMRC. I have to ensure that payroll submissions are made in a timely manner and to continually review existing processes with a view to innovating new practices, developing or improving new procedures leading to best practice operations. I act as a key point of contact for the Payroll team and maintain effective working systems and internal controls, ensuring that errors are minimised and any changes are reflected accurately. I am resposible to maintain payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures, meanwhile supervise client information, including generating/sending invoices and liaise with invoice queries.
