I had the opportunity to meet Valerie during her time as office manager at Exalt Communications. Valerie is very organized and juggles various responsibilities simultaneously. She makes sure that daily routines run smoothly and takes good care of people's requests. We enjoyed having Valerie as a colleague and loved that she added a personal touch to her job by pampering us with freshly cut fruit and smoothies.

Valerie is a object-oriented person and eager to improve not only herself but also organization she is belonging to. Her deliverables are always very accurate and punctual. Fun person to work with.

At OfficeTeam I have had the opportunity to work at interesting companies and demonstrate my skills as Office Manager/Administrative Assistant in different and exciting industries. At Cupertino Electric I worked on-site at Stanford University in their trailer. Talk about exciting! Document control was my main duty and I did not take that lightly. I was attentive and made sure that I supported everyone in that trailer and filed all the documents timely and orderly. I cannot stress how important that was. At NESS USA I stepped in seamlessly for the Office Manager. I reported to the HR Manager who was so pleased with my performance she is now a reference. I assembled HR packets for new-hires, filed, answered phones, greeted guests, shipped FedEx packages. I was punctual and the HR Manager came to rely upon me.

At Exalt Communications I supported our top executive staff and all employees at our corporate headquarters, regional office in Texas, and global offices scattered throughout the world. Duties included managing the front desk, making national and international travel arrangements, preparing reports and correspondence as requested, managing and maintaining legal files, handling facilities issues, ordering and maintaining all office supplies, managing caterers and other food and beverage vendors for special corporate events, and creating and maintaining the company’s first office administration processes and procedures manual.

Mitsubishi NAMBC was the best. Working with SVP & VP as well as Directors, some of whom were ex-patriots was exciting because it was in a startup environment. I also worked with the Assistant to the President (not the administrative kind). This heightened my organizational skills and I did learn to speak some Japanese, "Hajimemashite. Douzo yoroshiku." Translated, "How do you do? Nice to meet you." I know, it's not that impressive but still, not bad, eh? Mitsubishi NAMBC was the best.
