  Research activities within the Algorand Centres of Excellence (ACE) program of the Algorand Foundation and, in particular, the ACE BRAIN Blockchain Regulation And innovation project in partnership with the European University Institute, the Catholic University of Milan and Ugo Bordoni Foundation. The project has two main objectives: • enhance the compatibility between blockchain technology and EU legislation; • promote blockchain technology as a pillar of the future EU Single Market as well as a foundation for a more democratic, resilient and sustainable society in Europe and beyond. Applied search in the development of contracts on-chain that represent an efficient, economical, secure, scalable solution, thanks to the use of the public permissionless Algorand blockchain. Compared to the typical criticalities of the traditional contractual agreement, contracts on-chain facilitate conclusion and significantly reduce the risk of litigation. Show less
