Valentine, aside from being an absolute delight, is one of the most creative people I know. She has always been dedicated to her many crafts since we were at Spelman together, particularly, the Spelman Glee Club. I am continually inspired by her commitment and the work she does for our Spelman community and for herself. As long as I have known her, she has made everyone feel welcome and operated in a collaborative spirit. I do not know a more generous, compassionate individual. I am certain that same dedication Valentine extends to her love for and work at Spelman College will be granted to any professional community fortunate to hire her next.

While working under Valentine, for two years, she challenged myself and our team to consistently seek professional growth. Her strengths include leadership and garnering personal development. She always encouraged me to take initiative and lead projects while providing invaluable resources for support. She was a pleasure to work with as her enthusiasm is not only evident in her productions but also in her disposition.

I’ve had the pleasure of partnering with Valentine on many programs and projects at Spelman College. Valentine is a hard-worker and is self-motivated. She has lots of energy that has served us well in performance and as a emcee. Valentine is also a strong communicator that is able to work with a very diverse group of people. She is truly an inspiration to those who come in contact with her.
