I worked on an industrial project funded by Mobil Refining Australia Pty Ltd and Qenos Pty Ltd on catalytic treatment of ethane-rich off-gases from Mobil Refinery, Altona, Australia. The main objective of the project was removing CO and CO2 from the off-gas stream by catalytic hydrogenation. My duty was peforming the research (including synthesis, experiments and analysis) as well as mentoring a couple of Final-year BSc students.
