      Bandar Abbas Gas Condensate Refinery (BAGCR) includes of three Naphtha Hydrotreating Units (unit numbers 02, 52, and 72) which are totally similar in regard of main process scheme. The design feed capacity of this unit is 78,000 BPSD. and includes of three OCT & CCR (Unit numbers 02, 52, and 72) which are totally similar in regard of main process scheme. The capacity of the present Octanizer unit (OCT) is 45,000 BPSD (for one train – three trains in the whole). The Octanizer unit produces a reformate with RONC of 100 and benzene content < 1.5 vol%. The purpose of the Octanizer unit is to produce: • A high octane reformate • A hydrogen rich gas for use in ISOM, KHT, GOHT, SRU/TGT, NHT, and regeneration units • A LPG cut routed to the LPG recovery unit and CCR presents the various characteristics of the catalyst regeneration and the catalyst circulation systems of the Octanizing unit. The purpose is to regenerate continuously the catalyst during the normal operation of the Octanizing unit and so to maintain a steady coke level in the reactors, and optimum operating conditions for the Octanizing unit. These operating conditions are almost constant except for the catalyst end of life. The catalyst circulation through the reactors and through the catalyst regeneration is achieved automatically. The design capacity of the catalyst regeneration system is 62 kg of coke burnt per hour, with a catalyst design flow rate equal to 990 kg/h. Show less
