Hormozgan Steel Project The purpose of this project was establishment of a steel production factory in Persian Gulf Mineral and Metal Industries Special Zone, located at 20 Kilometers to the west of City of Bandar Abbas. The factory was to produce 1.5 tons of steel slab ingots per year (capable of development to 3 million tons).
