  Responsibilities: • Ascertain clients’ requirements. • Visit site and identify and record site characteristics. Obtain site plan. • Check lows applicable to the project. • Prepare schematic design and discuss with engineer and QS. • Develop detail design in consultation with engineers and QS and obtain clients approval. • Prepare special specifications for tender documents, prepare all necessary construction drawings of the project and attend to meeting at site with client contractor and consultants. • Check quality of work at site. Check and approve samples of materials. • Identify defects before handing over site to client on practical completion. • Check whether the defects are rectified within specified period.
