Usman was a tier 3 support technician, reporting to me at LifeScan. As such, he didn’t have much chance to use his java development credentials, but his skills allowed him to perform much deeper troubleshooting than his non-developer coworkers. Even without access to the code, Usman was able to determine which section of code or subsystem was causing an issue, allowing for much quicker troubleshooting. Usman led client API implementation projects and remote user troubleshooting sessions. Usman proved himself to be a very quick study, learning LifeScan’s diabetes software, hardware, systems, and about diabetes itself in a very short time. Usman has a very positive, can-do attitude and excellent work ethic. In my experience, Usman would make an excellent addition to any team.
