Training & Development • Conducts organizational / training needs assessment in collaboration with business partners, clients and senior managers of GS1 Kenya and all affiliated companies. • Designs and expands training and development programs based on the needs of the client organization and GS1 Kenya as an Organization including individuals within. • Develops annual training and development program calendars. • Keeps up to date with the developments in training and development content and trainers • Ensures that statutory training requirements are met. Training Impact Assessment • Evaluates training and development the validity of the programs / events • Measures the training progress and recommends any changes Programs/Events Management • Prepares learning and training proposals in collaboration with the research and development department • Markets learning and development programs to clients and special/in-house training programs. • Uses different channels to optimize on marketing the training programs • Assists in facilitating Annual Exhibitions by members • Manages delivery of training and development events Public Relations • Assists in designing and disseminating GS1 Kenya’s publicity and promotional materials. • Participates in informing the public about GS1 Kenya • Helps in devising methods and techniques to enhance the corporate image and identity of GS1 Kenya. • Provides PR support for services and product launches, marketing campaigns and members programs Media Management • Assists with organizational press briefs and attendance • Participates in preparing material for the GS1 Kenya publications i.e. brochures Brand Management • Works with marketing team to ensure match with the corporate brand • Identifies and implements different ways to boost the company’s reputation • Builds and maintains relationships with partners and media Administration • Organizes travel itinerary. • Write training / learning events reports Show less
