  PA Resources is an oil & gas independent exploration and production company. After years of growth with business in Africa and in the North Sea and a turnover over 500mUSD, it ran into financial difficulties after among other things a failed investment in Congo. Various actions were taken over the years to solve the financial issues but unfortunately it had to be wind down after selling all its assets. Joining the company in 2008 as a Group Accounting controller, I was successively Head of Group control (2011-2015) and Acting CFO (Dec 2015 – Mar 2016). Major Achievements:* Established new Group budget and forecast routines, including business focused packages for management and board. * Established new controller routines with focus on analysis of actual outcome on a monthly basis – P&L, CF and investments. Provided information to CFO for external communication.* Responsible for Group´s consolidated financial statements according to IFRS and Oil & Gas accounting – quarterly and annual reports.* Managed advisors in different tax and legal projects. * Implemented Group´s consolidation and liquidity system, Unit4. System owner and development manager.* Head of Group Accounting/Finance department.* Part of team for M&A transactions, including analysis, drafting of key documents, tax optimization and Group accounting. * Part of team for refinancing; rights issues, bond raising and bank loans.
