For many years I had the opportunity of working with Umut as a peer and as part of his team. In both cases I found that Umut was great leader known for leading his team by example. Umut was always ready to support the team, challenge the status quo and focus the efforts where they added more value. He inspired the team to overcome great challenges, in particular, were remarkable the implementation of a new ERP system for the Operations team across the company, developing the production structure for devices that were built for the very first time and the implementation of the production line, which completely transformed the material flow, the mindset of the whole organization and skyrocketed the productivity of the company. It was an honor and absolute pleasure to work with Umut and I have no doubts that he will have a great impact in any organization he will be part of.

I had the pleasure of working with Umut for many years, during which he had important and different roles, predominantly managing Hardware Engineering and running Operations for our Montreal business within my P&L. Umut is a talented, dedicated, focused and well organized individual that brought tremendous value to the organization. In his role as Director of Operations he drove a number of significant initiatives and changes, such as setting-up the production line, improving health and safety and improving processes overall. Umut’s capabilities and work ethic would bring value to any organization no matter what industry it is in.
