  Umu Coomber-Benjamin is a Board Certified Adult Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) with a Master’s degree in Nursing and a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Care. My training allows me to conduct psychiatric evaluations, make diagnoses, prescribe medications and supplements, and do nutritional and wellness counseling. My approach to patient management is to prescribe medications in a conservative, effective and safe manner.Umu Coomber-Benjamin academic background is significant for having acquire her Bachelors of Science in Nursing with Hampton University. She further her education by acquiring her Masters of Nursing Science in Psychiatric Mental Health at Walden University.
