  Worked as a Research Assistant at the Digital Signal and Image processing department of LISiN. During the internship, most of my work was to study the nature of biomedical signals mainly Electromyogram (EMG) signals. After acquisition of EMG signals from the surface of body through electrode arrays, enhancement of the acquired signals is necessary and any bad channels (channels of the electrode array that have noise component dominant over the signal) need to be detected and removed from the measurement. My task was to propose an algorithm that automatically detects those bad channels out of the EMG signals. The algorithm was successfully implemented in the MATLAB environment and its accuracy was found out to be 93%. Show less
