Interned as a computer engineer at Sanmina Medical under the Huntsville Innovations Team (HIT) for 11 weeks. Responsibilities included developing statistical analysis programs in MATLAB for comparing pulse oximeter measurements, attending team meetings, and assisting electrical/mechanical engineers with technical tasks. Was held responsible for the development of an effective testing procedure for a heart and lung simulator as well as the maintainance/troubleshooting of this system. In charge of creating a base mixture for this system that provided the best optical results for further progression of this product. Was introduced to the basics of PCB design and manufacturing, embedded software implementation, as well as MATLAB GUI prototyping.

Introduced to simulation software, creation of 3D mesh points in space using MATLAB software, as well as the reconstruction of patellofemoral joints using CT/MRI scans.
