We initially decided to manage the transformation on a region-by-region basis and decided to launch the program with an initial focus on the US market. The US is the highest growth market for Volante, and it was critical that we streamline the Product Development process in order to fully support the growth. I was given end-to-end control over the whole process (Product Management, Engineering, QA, and Delivery to Implementation Teams) and successfully built the teams and processes necessary to deliver on the $40 million dollars in signed SaaS deals at that point in time (during the transformation, many more signed contracts were coming in).
